Spring Break Camps help parents work through the kinks of filling the day while kiddos are in school. And if you are a stay-at-home parent, they can still be useful for helping kids through spring fever! Here are some of our favorite Spring Break Camps around Atlanta. We’ll continue to add more camps as their schedules are updated for 2016.

Ages 7-10 years old; $265-275
This camp is a fun and educational combination of Technology, Robotics and Minecraft! This will help those wanting to take a full minecraft camp get familiar and comfortable with Minecraft. They will have the opportunity to make cartoons, movies, video games, animate their stories and compose music all done with Scratch, as well as programming and building super fun animals using Lego ® MINDSTORMS ® NXT’s.

Campers will explore the concepts of sacredness and shrines in the two exhibitionsBetween the Sweet Water and the Swarm of Bees: Works by Susanne Wenger andDoorway to an Enlightened World: The Tibetan Shrine from the Alice S. Kandell Collection. Drawing inspiration from the Osun Osogbo Sacred Grove in Nigeria that Susanne Wenger played a pivotal role in conserving, campers will work with Nigerian sculptor Nnamdi Okonkwo to transform the Baker Woodlands into a temporary Sacred Grove.

Spring Break Camp is a 5-day camp experience filled with exciting animal encounters, outdoor play, and educational hikes exploring our 127 acres at CNC! Daily schedules include indoor and outdoor FUN built around spring ecology themes like “Forests-a-bloom” or “Spring Pollinators!”
Deer Lick Park Douglasville
April 4-8; Full Day
Spring Break Arts Camp is an all-day, all-week arts exploration led by TellTale Theatre, dancer Joi Jamison, vocal teacher Megan Mayne, visual artist Nicole Hale, and photographer Cristhtian Perez Molina. Camp is from 9am-4pm with a culminating showcase of students’ work on Friday at 6pm.
Alliance Theatre Midtown

Kindergarten – 12th grade; $399
Spring Break Camps include Drama, Musical Theatre and Performing Arts Camps. Young children learn to work together in an ensemble and express their creative side. Older kids will enjoy rehearsing and performing a showcase, working in two and three person scenes, developing theatre skills and more.
Atlanta Botanical Garden Midtown

Daily or weekly sessions available. It’s spring break, go WILD! Spring Safari Day Camp at Zoo Atlanta offers daily camps that bring out the animal in us all through hands-on learning, nature discovery and wildlife appreciation. This year’s theme is travel around the world.

Keep your kids active and engaged during Spring break with Dunwoody Nature Center’s camps – Mud-luscious Camp for Kindergarten though fifth graders, and Puddle Wonderful half day camps for three and four year olds. Campers will enjoy nature exploration through our lush green forest and wade into the still chilly waters of Wildcat Creek. They will learn about birds and blooms as the colors and sounds of spring return. Dirt, puddles, and mud pies are always a possibility too!

Suwanee Sports Academy’s MySport Spring Break Camp gives kids an opportunity to spend their spring break participating in a variety of sports and activities with a focus on developing the total child. Our lifeguards perform a swim test at the beginning of each Camp Week to get to know each student’s swim ability. Then we form the lesson groups for the week. Beginners through Advanced are welcome. Everyone will benefit from their daily lessons and open swim time.

Kids will enjoy a different field trip each day, including roller skating, trampoline jumping, bowling and video games, indoor kart racing and a pizza party at Chuck E Cheese.

Campers participate in arts, crafts, games and special programs. Camp takes place at the Keswick Park Community Building at 3496 Keswick Drive. Also available at this time and location is Jon Akin Soccer Camp for kids ages 6-14.
