Spring Break Camps help parents work through the kinks of filling the day while kiddos are in school. And if you are a stay-at-home parent, they can still be useful for helping kids through spring fever! Here are some of our favorite Spring Break Camps around Atlanta. We’ll continue to add more camps as their schedules are updated for 2016.

Technology Madness Spring Break Camp

Imagine That!

April 4-8; Full Day. Early and extended Care available

Ages 7-10 years old; $265-275

This camp is a fun and educational combination of Technology, Robotics and Minecraft! This will help those wanting to take a full minecraft camp get familiar and comfortable with Minecraft. They will have the opportunity to make cartoons, movies, video games, animate their stories and compose music all done with Scratch, as well as programming and building super fun animals using Lego ® MINDSTORMS ® NXT’s.

Spring Break Art Camp

Michael C Carlos Museum

April 4-8; Full day. Extended care available

Ages 8-12 years old; $185-225

Campers will explore the concepts of sacredness and shrines in the two exhibitionsBetween the Sweet Water and the Swarm of Bees: Works by Susanne Wenger andDoorway to an Enlightened World: The Tibetan Shrine from the Alice S. Kandell Collection.  Drawing inspiration from the Osun Osogbo Sacred Grove in Nigeria that Susanne Wenger played a pivotal role in conserving, campers will work with Nigerian sculptor Nnamdi Okonkwo to transform the Baker Woodlands into a temporary Sacred Grove.

Chattahoochee Nature Center Roswell

April 4-7; Full Day. Extended Care available.

Kindergarten – 7th grade; $295 – 380

Spring Break Camp is a 5-day camp experience filled with exciting animal encounters, outdoor play, and educational hikes exploring our 127 acres at CNC! Daily schedules include indoor and outdoor FUN built around spring ecology themes like “Forests-a-bloom” or “Spring Pollinators!”


Spring Break Arts Camp

Deer Lick Park Douglasville

April 4-8; Full Day


Spring Break Arts Camp is an all-day, all-week arts exploration led by TellTale Theatre, dancer Joi Jamison, vocal teacher Megan Mayne, visual artist Nicole Hale, and photographer Cristhtian Perez Molina. Camp is from 9am-4pm with a culminating showcase of students’ work on Friday at 6pm.

Kindergarten – 12th grade; $399

Spring Break Camps include Drama, Musical Theatre and Performing Arts Camps. Young children learn to work together in an ensemble and express their creative side. Older kids will enjoy rehearsing and performing a showcase, working in two and three person scenes, developing theatre skills and more.

April 7-8; 9am – noon

Ages 4-6 years old; $59-69

Celebrate spring and discover spectacular flowers and animals emerging from winter slumber. Come and learn more about this fascinating process and enjoy two glorious Garden mornings of exploration, activities and artwork.


Spring Safari Day Camp

Zoo Atlanta Grant Park

April 4-8; Full Day. Extended Care available

Kindergarten – 5th grade; $50-340

Daily or weekly sessions available. It’s spring break, go WILD! Spring Safari Day Camp at Zoo Atlanta offers daily camps that bring out the animal in us all through hands-on learning, nature discovery and wildlife appreciation. This year’s theme is travel around the world.

April 4-8; Half Day or Full Day. Early and Extended Care available.

3 years old – 5th grade; $150-275

Keep your kids active and engaged during Spring break with Dunwoody Nature Center’s camps – Mud-luscious Camp for Kindergarten though fifth graders, and Puddle Wonderful half day camps for three and four year olds. Campers will enjoy nature exploration through our lush green forest and wade into the still chilly waters of Wildcat Creek. They will learn about birds and blooms as the colors and sounds of spring return. Dirt, puddles, and mud pies are always a possibility too!

MySport Spring Break Camp

Suwanee Sports Academy

April 4-8; Full day. Early and Extended Care available.

Kindergarten – 6th grade; $40-175

Daily or weekly sessions available. Suwanee Sports Academy’s MySport Spring Break Camp gives kids an opportunity to spend their spring break participating in a variety of sports and activities with a focus on developing the total child. The MySport Spring Break Camp utilizes sports to impact the growth of your child, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally as well.

UFA is devoted to providing a developmental structure along with quality instruction for children ages 3-18. In order to experience the game of soccer at every level, we offer various programs within the club: recreational, academy, select and TOPSoccer; which encompass each child’s soccer potential.

Enjoy Junior Chef’s Academy, LEGO Robotics and programming, Claymation movie-making or Tykes and Bytes: LEGO Robotics camps for younger kiddos.


Spring Break Camp H2O

Atlanta Swim Academy Marietta

April 4-8; Full day

4 – 12 years old (must be potty trained); $315

Our lifeguards perform a swim test at the beginning of each Camp Week to get to know each student’s swim ability. Then we form the lesson groups for the week. Beginners through Advanced are welcome. Everyone will benefit from their daily lessons and open swim time.

April 4-8; Full day.

Ages 6-11 years old; $200-220

Spring Break Camp is a week long camp that features indoor and outdoor activities and a different summer camp theme each day. Themes include Adventure Camp, Cooking and Crafts, Nature Explorer, Friends of the Forest and Wild Water.

Ages 5-14 years old; $105-195

Try your hand at Junior Lifeguard Camp, Jedi Lego Camp or Jedi MASTER Lego Camp, all at Frances Meadows.


Non Stop Action Camp

Cherokee County Parks and Rec Woodstock

April 4-8; 7am – 6pm


Kids will enjoy a different field trip each day, including roller skating, trampoline jumping, bowling and video games, indoor kart racing and a pizza party at Chuck E Cheese.


Spring Break Camp

Chamblee Parks and Rec

April 4-8; 7:30am  – 6pm

Ages 6-12 years old; $75-115

Campers participate in arts, crafts, games and special programs.  Camp takes place at the Keswick Park Community Building at 3496 Keswick Drive. Also available at this time and location is Jon Akin Soccer Camp for kids ages 6-14.
