Tiny Towne | Norcross2055 Beaver Ruin Road
Our family visited Tiny Towne with one objective in mind: FUN! We succeeded wholeheartedly! I went with both boys and hubby on a rainy day, and we drove the gloomies away!
Tiny Towne is in a strip mall with plenty of free parking. We entered the building and stood in line for tickets. I am constantly asked about the pricing for this adventure…Both boys received “debit cards” worth $50 each, but we didn’t even use half of that amount when we visited (so we’ll be heading back!) Obviously, some kids might want to stay longer or do more things than we did, but I thought that $25 a kid was reasonable for this type of fun.
The main attraction to Tiny Towne is the ability for kids to drive a car themselves! There are two tracks. The first track allows kids 3+ ride in a small car and kids about 6+ to ride in a larger auto. They share the track, but with the staff alternating groups of kids, they are not on the track at the same time. Safety first! A second track on the other side of the building is where kids 9 and older can drive the large golf cart cars.
My oldest (6 yo) said that driving the car was most certainly his favorite part of the day. He struggled a little at first, learning to coordinate steering the wheel with pushing the peddle, but he claimed success in the end. With a smile.
My 2 yo was not old enough for this fun, but he enjoyed riding the train around and through the course.
Both boys really liked the arcade. Even hubby liked it. The activities are not the typical American games seen in most arcades we’ve visited. One of our favorite games was a “shoot ’em up” game unlike any other, where the boys used real water guns to put out an imaginary fire. My little one also enjoyed riding the stationary cars outside the arcade.
There is a great little restaurant, with yummy fare. Serving more than typical pizza and hotdogs, we saw salads, wraps, and great looking burgers. Finally, there are several cute party rooms, great for kiddo birthdays.
Overall, we had a great time. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and efficiency. My only complaint? It’s not closer to home!
Disclosure: We were hosts of Tiny Towne in order to facilitate this review. It did not impact my opinion here at all. In fact, the oldest loved it so much that he journaled about it on his own in his gratitude journal that evening. If it wasn’t killer, we wouldn’t share it. #keepingitreal
