My family truly loves the 4th of July, Independence Day in the United States. It commemorates our Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 which declared us free from the Kingdom of Great Britain.
My love for it came throughout childhood and from the memories created when I was a child and the memories recreated with my child and his friends. The United States goes all out to celebrate July 4th. No matter how big or small the city there will be some form of celebration usually in form of a parade, a cookout, a concert and more ending with fireworks.
We have always done the fourth of July big! Whether going to a big celebration or planning a simple one of our own. We have been fortunate enough to celebrate the Fourth of July in some very nice celebrations throughout the country and I want to share these Southeast celebrations with you.
