Covered in my North Georgia Winery post, Serenity Cellars is a wonderful place for families to enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains while the adults can taste some of the best wines in the area. What I especially love about Serenity Cellars is that they offer live music every weekend, plus on Friday nights you can bring your own pizza and toppings and they will bake it right in their Brick Oven at no extra charge. I also love their cute gift shop offering some of the best tasting homemade jams you will find in town.
Tubing is one of those things that you just have to do when you take a trip to the south. Tubing is THE water sport in southern states. While you’re in the Helen, Georgia area, be sure to enjoy some awesome tubing with Cool River Tubing or Helen Tubing and Water Park – or even better – both. With tubing and other great, watery ways to cool off, both Cool River, and Helen Tubing and Water Park are excellent choices for fun in the sun and water.
