At last, the Skyline View at Ponce City Market is open. We braved the heat and explored Skyline Park this weekend. Here’s what to expect, and a VIDEO of our visit.
The only better thing to experience with a movie is a free movie during the summer months around Atlanta. I knew there were a lot of free or cheap outdoor summer movies, but this is the ultimate list. I think it’s safe to say that your family will be able to see as many summer movies as your heart desires.
At Fort King George, hubby and I enjoyed learning about why this bluff was such a special part of Georgia’s history…and the boys LOVED exploring the site, climbing in the fort and “battling” each other on the marshes.

Most of the Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites have identified their “hidden gems” – those special attributes, trails or unusual elements that make them special. Some of these are available for anyone to see them (as long as you know what to look for) and others are only available through guided walks at certain times of the year.
